Broaches

Broaches are toothed tools used to remove workpiece material, typically in order to form uncommon shapes. Each tooth gradually increases in height along the tool’s cutting edge. Broaching works well on softer materials like brass and plastic, and can create keyways, squares, and hex-shaped cuts.
