ASC has been a part of our design family and has taken on many tasks with us: Whether it was a series of vehicle concepts or a full vehicle build, ASC was there to pitch in and support our efforts. The experienced and dedicated Design, Modeling, and Build staff at ASC has blended well with us in terms of skill, attention to detail, and their pursuit of excellence.
Navistar has relied on ASC for assistance on several of our most successful products. ASC did early concept and modeling work with us on two variants of our ProStar High-Way tractor prior to its introduction in 2006: the LH and NGCV Concept vehicles were developed with, Modeled, and Built by ASC. Our highly popular 9800 High Cab Over vehicle sold in South Africa was significantly face-lifted with ASC’s support: they coordinated design and engineering efforts with our Design and Program team in Ft. Wayne, IN and with the Engineering and Manufacturing team in Brazil.
Our re-appearance at the Chicago Auto Show in 2006 had as it’s focus the RXT and Project RXT concept vehicles; both supported from a design perspective and built by ASC craftsmen. Our debut at the Mid-America Trucking show in Louisville, KY of the production ProStar in 2007, the LoneStar in 2008, and the LoneStar Harley Davidson Special Edition in 2009 were all supported by ASC by either a vehicle display build, vehicle design and digital modeling support, or both.
