Steven G. Laurain takes care of the Leadership and Operational roles at both the divisions of ASC - Open Air and Creative Services
Previously, Mr. Laurian was the Director of Business Development for ASC’s Open Air Division which develops and manufactures roof system for the OE Automotive Industry. Mr. Laurain has been with ASC for more than 18 years serving various functions in the open air business including Product Engineer, Lead Engineer, Engineering Director and Program Manager.
During his career at ASC, Mr. Laurain has spent 3 years living and working in Germany on various projects including the Porsche 944 Cabrio, the BMW Z3 Roadster and it’s successor, the BMW Z4 Roadster.Mr. Laurain has also worked for the Space and Communications Division of Hughes Aircraft located in El Segundo, California as a Spacecraft Systems Engineer. A native of Michigan, Mr. Laurain Graduated from the University of Michigan – Dearborn with a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering.

Chris Mayfield - Open Air
Director of Business Development
Chris has enjoyed a 20 year Tier 1 Sales and Marketing experience, serving transnational and domestic OEMs, with a product focus of interior systems and engineering modules benefits. He is interested in ASC's ability to create new and exciting product applications for OEMs
Chris is personally excited by the convertible and T-Topped vehicles and the unique emotional bond they create for the driver and the passengers. • 18 years OEM Automotive and truck design experience, including current Design Studio management at ASC
• 10 years as Professional Driver and team principal in US Motorsports
• 3 National Pro Rally driving championships
• 1 professional road racing driving / team championship

• General Manager of ASC Creative Services, responsible for all planning and business operations for OEM customer design work
• Creation of the Saleen S5S Raptor
• Design Director of ASC Warren Studio activities (off-site GM Design Studio activities with responsibility specializing in performance vehicles
• Chief Designer of ASC Warren Studio activities (startup studio operations, manage design activities)
• Lead Designer in ASC Southgate Studio on multiple OEM design projects for Toyota (NEW Tokyo Show Car, Solara, Celica and Paseo convertibles), GM (Grand AM SC/T, Large SUV, Firebird and Camaro), Ford (Probe, Ranger) and multiple other design projects.

Jeevak has completed his Executive MBA studies from Michigan State University, Eli Broad Business School, his Master's in Industrial Design from IIT- Powaii and his Bachelor's in Mechanical engineering from Pune University,
He has had over 14 years of professional transportation design experience. He started his career with Tata Motors and then on to Tata-Johnson Controls, Remote3D, GM Design center and ASC.
Due to his unique blend of engineering, styling and managerial talent he understands the core design and product development process innately.
